They and others will realize that I am executing my duties as a officer, and hopefully they will do the same as me. Shaving and keeping proper hygiene will put me ahead of my peers and show my NCO’s that I am ready for the next level. Whether it is a promotion or leadership positions; I need to show that I follow and set the standards. Also, doing simple things such as; shaving every day and being at the right place at the right time, will keep my NCO’s off of my back and hopefully off of their radar. If I can stay off their radar it will in turn open new doors for me; for example: advanced training classes or new opportunities in general.

He already knew that it was making me uneasy, but I kept silent about it and did not react over it for quite a long time. 

He kept waiting for the surprise to be unlocked his own ways. May be he wanted to test the temper limit. But I was not quite patience and successful with it. I wanted to know all about it. We had surprises for each other, and we were going quite good with it, till the planned out a failure from his side when I went on to pull his cheeks for the naughtiness he was hiding behind his artificial stubble.

That made me go crazy and mad with laughter and might be I managed to skip a few heartbeats for he was looking very clean and well groomed, perfectly ready for the day and making it a special and memorable one. He hugged me tightly after that and said to me for that he knew his stubble was making me uncomfortable and wanted to have some gun-fun on the day. We had a huge laughter revealing this madness.

I won't say that he was completely successful with it, but the ball was in his court for the maximum amount of time.

So, that was difference that a groomed and un-groomed man goes on to make in life. A well groomed definitely makes her lady go gaga over him and way more pampered, unless it is some another Ranveer Singh from the Bollywood industry.
